One of the UK's most prestigious charities are embarking on a multi-year Digital Transformation Programme that will revolutionise how it operates across multiple areas.
One of the most critical and immediate projects is standardising financial processes for 700+ volunteer treasurers, including cash handling, expense management, and reimbursements.
Project Overview
* Aligns with core finance project implementing D365 F&O
* Focuses on fundraising income processing and treasury role
Key areas:
* Improving cash handling process for ~700 volunteer treasurers
* Transitioning from check books to credit cards for expenses
* Standardising reimbursement and expense management systems
* Challenges include managing change for volunteers and operational staff
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Strong interpersonal skills and high EQ crucial for working with volunteers
* Ability to build trust and relationships with end-users
* Experience with process mapping (Visio) and requirements gathering
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps beneficial but not required
* Background in customer/consumer-focused projects preferred over purely technical roles
Location & Contract Details
* 6-month initial contract. Future opportunities potentially available across the Programme
* Head office in Bournemouth. Hybrid-working supported - could be 4-days one week and none the following
* £400 per day - Outside IR35
* Start in March
