We are seeking an innovative Lead Teacher in English to join our new Options Autism School - Claystone School in Luton, Bedfordshire. This is an exciting time to join a brand-new school and be a part of a team that believes 'Embracing Difference leads to Endless Possibilities' for all its pupils. The school will have capacity for 48 pupils ages 4-11 years old and is due to open January 2025. We require an experienced and qualified teacher who has the ability to make a significant contribution to our school. You will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils' achievement and ability to develop. The role includes teaching pupils in a fun and engaging way, working with support staff, and providing feedback to SLT, parents, and carers. Key responsibilities include leading the development of Literacy programmes across the school, teaching and planning fun and engaging sessions, and having experience teaching in an SEN school or working with SEN pupils.
