We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a global design textile company, working within their acoustics division. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all secured contracts are successfully executed by providing detailed drawings and specifications. The role ensures the efficient production and installation of acoustic products according to client specifications within set timelines.
Main Responsibilities
* Review and assess drawing specifications for secured contracts.
* Collaborate with clients to establish installation dates and ensure expectations are met.
* Organise and participate in site visits and pre-start meetings to ensure readiness.
* Confirm that all sites are prepared for installation before project commencement.
* Update site-specific Risk and Method Statements as needed.
* Maintain and monitor the Project File, ensuring all records are current until job completion.
* Manage and assess workloads of fitters daily, adjusting as required to meet project demands.
* Work closely with the Operations Director to ensure smooth project execution.
* Address any project snagging issues and ensure completion to the required standard.
* Facilitate successful project sign-offs and client handovers.
* Perform various ad-hoc project management tasks as needed.
Requirements
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to review and produce workable technical drawings.
* Proven experience managing skilled site labour and overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
* Knowledge of site Health & Safety (H&S) standards and requirements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
* Health & Safety certification (STSCS preferred).
* Ability to engage professionally with clients, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
Decision Making Authority
* Manage and prioritise own workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Direct and manage site operatives to ensure timely project completion.
* Authority to sign off jobs upon satisfactory completion of work.
Working Hours: Monday- Thursday 9am-5.30pm & Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: £dependant on experience
