Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator – The Role
We are looking for a professional experienced Receptionist/Administrator to act as the first point of contact for the Business. They will answer all in-bound calls to the main line and redirect these to the appropriate department, along with managing the reception desk.
As the first point of contact for our business, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all our visitors, callers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Calls;
• Professionally answer and handle all incoming calls to the main line
• Route calls promptly and accurately to the appropriate department
• Take detailed messages when required and ensure timely follow-up
• Support multi-site call handling with tailored responses
Reception Duties;
• Greet and welcome all visitors in a professional and efficient manner
• Notify relevant team members of visitor arrivals
• Maintain an accurate visitor log
• Keep the reception area tidy, presentable, and professional
• Provide holiday and absence cover for your job share partner when needed
Administration Support;
• Book and prepare meeting rooms
• Handle incoming and outgoing post, including franking
• Assist with scanning, photocopying, and document recording
• Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and databases
• Support HR and other departments with ad-hoc administrative tasks
Part-Time Receptionist / Administrator - What We’re Looking For
Key Skills & Experience;
• Previous experience in a reception or administrative role
• Confident handling a busy switchboard and multi-company lines
• Strong communication skills – professional, polite, and approachable
• Calm under pressure with the ability to multitask effectively
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• A high level of IT literacy (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• A team player with a customer-focused approach
