You will form part of the Performance Manager structure within the Safeguarding Operations Team. The team's purpose is to manage performance across all areas, driving capacity, service improvement, and achievement of key performance indicators The main objective of the role is to support our operational teams in delivering a key safeguarding service to the people of Scotland. Applicants should be aware the role requires access to information of a sensitive nature. Responsibilities Work with the Head of Operations and Operations Managers to oversee delivery of day-to-day services and delivery. Collaborate with colleagues across Safeguarding Operations to drive forward improvements and efficiencies Support other Performance Managers and Team Leaders to ensure performance and attendance management issues are addressed and dealt with using the tools that are available. Contribute to ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery ie transitional arrangements for the Disclosure Act. Work with the Operations teams to plan and inform effective targeting of resources. Support the team to deliver high customer expectations, via helpline and emails, responding to complaints and collaborating with other areas to improve our service. Contribute to the Safeguarding Operations Management Team, constructively supporting the collective delivery of outcomes across the group, leading on corporate activities and deputising for the Operations Manager when required. Support the Team Leaders within the Operational Training Team and the work they carry out.
