Sales Executive

Reed is actively recruiting on behalf of an established business for a permanent Sales Development Representative. The role is a mixture of field-based and internal sales.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous sales experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Co-ordinate the day-to-day management of customers, generate and convert sales leads.
2. Identify and achieve profitable sales opportunities.
3. Prepare commercial proposals (quotations/tenders, etc.) in line with customer deadlines or within an agreed timeframe.
4. Receive inbound calls and build effective customer relationships and loyalty to ensure excellent levels of customer service are provided at all times.
5. Build strong customer relationships using a range of communication methods.
6. Understand customers’ business needs and address any issues following upon sales opportunities.
7. Actively manage any customer complaints and ensure these are resolved to meet/exceed customer expectations.
8. Initiate outgoing customer calls with prospective clients to establish qualified appointments.
9. Attend sales meetings and participate in learning and training opportunities when appropriate to continuously build customer services and sales knowledge.
10. Proactively follow up quotations and convert opportunities to orders.
11. Be able to use IT systems effectively and in line with company procedures.
12. Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure customer specifications are adhered to.
