The purpose of this role is to manage an existing customer portfolio in Wales, Lake District & East Anglia to maximise sales productivity and grow new business opportunities in the RV Aftermarket Sales business vertical. Specialising in AC and ventilation, refrigeration and hot & cooking products (amongst other product groups), the RV Aftermarket business is a key area of expansion for Dometic in the UK as they strive to grow and develop their dealership and partner network.
Reporting to the UK Service Sales Manager your main responsibilities are:
• Increase sales and range build with existing aftermarket retailers, e-commerce dealers, installing dealers, distributors and special vehicle manufacturers.
• Build new sales and customers in the rapidly growing retail sector.
• Manage customer base within a CRM system and introduce new customers to it.
• Provide technical product and installation training.
• Travel to visit customers and prospects in your territory up to 4 days a week.
Proven track record within B2B and B2C vehicle aftermarket field sales and account management.
• Experience of selling and/or working with all types of customer groups – wholesalers, dealerships, e-commerce and installing customers.
• Contract negotiation skills, strong face-to-face sales acumen and drive, confidence in managing customers.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work on own initiative, ability to self-manage sales territory properly and efficiently.
