About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
We're seeking to recruit a Senior Buyer on a Permanent basis.
This role will be based in the Southam area to support the Procurement manager for a section of works managing the tender, analysis, negotiation and award of Subcontract packages.
You will act as the face of EKFB and ensure that all communication/negotiations/interactions with the supply chain are carried out in the spirit of our values and Procurement & Supply Chain vision. You will carry out procurement to the highest ethical standard at all times and ensure that procurement exercises are made against value-based procurement decisions. You will liaise with internal stakeholders and make sure that are engaged in the process throughout and endorse any recommendations. In addition, you will also prepare and deliver internal presentations to key stakeholders articulating package strategies and award recommendations.

About You
* Excellent written skills and ability of drafting formal Subcontract documents.
* Experience with NEC contracts.
* Knowledge of Supply chain principles, procedures and methods.
* Proven analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders parties to achieve successful project outcomes.
