* You will lead the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
* You will be the relationship owner and primary contact for Mace executive team engagement, and responsible for ensuring efficient governance to achieve our strategic priorities.
* You will be responsible for key client relationship management, including generating live prospects and leads.
* Responsible for driving proactive performance management of overall integrated design delivery and maturation across both design partners based on partner supplied data.
* Ensure detailed cost/schedule variance analysis is provided by partners together with recovery plans/mitigation and/or escalations where necessary.
* Review design delivery at regular progress reviews; capturing quantitative performance issues and summary escalations to inform IPPR.
* Working within the programme level reporting drumbeat develop a revised project drumbeat, to drive enhanced focus on schedule adherence at a control account level and embed active risk management and mitigations.
* Drive the partners in the application of project trend and change to recognise any emergent design issues are appropriately captured within the programme governance arrangements.
* Develop a bottom-up driven reporting system that captures necessary achievements, escalations, issues etc. at a control account level that subsequently supports the onward integrated project weekly report, IPPR & PMO.
* Continually facilitate engagement, communication and commitment across the partnership to establish a fully integrated design delivery team.
* Provide constructive challenge, where appropriate, on design outputs to ensure they meet project schedule and cost requirements.
* Ensure client interfaces support the overall design delivery, particularly ensuring client project engineering manager engagement and alignment as required.
* Identify and escalate any issue reported through escalation from the technical governance that threatens schedule and cost requirements.
* Work with partners to embed continuous improvements in design processes through application of best practices and lessons learned. Collectively drive change to establish schedule stability/adherence and delivery to schedule.
* Manage the assessment of partner PfAs for contractual compliance (as a subset of the IMS from the common schedule platform). Notify issues to the respective service managers via the project commercial manager.
* Adhere to the published Integro management system arrangements.
* Working with the integration director and partners develop the phase 4-6 delivery strategy and drive/support the partners to implement for the commencement of phase 4.

* Due to the strict security requirements, candidates must be a UK National and will need to progress through security clearance.
You'll need to have:
* Proven experience and track-record for delivering major programmes.
* Advanced technical understanding of programme management practices, controls, programme governance and programme procedures.
* Full budgetary oversight (external programme budget and internal fee budget)
* Advanced risk & opportunity management/practitioner.
* Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills across estimating, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, financial controls and reporting, across the project lifecycle.
* Contract literate to a good standard.
* Performance management to ensure a high-performance culture is maintained.
You'll also have:
* Extensive sector and/or market-specific experience, knowledge and contacts.
* Extensive experience in successful delivery of major programmes, through all phases.
* Leadership and management experience and capability to lead a large team.
* Tertiary qualifications in related (project management and/or construction related discipline), non-related degree or equivalent professional experience/apprenticeship, combined with a demonstrable level of role knowledge, (or equivalent).
* Appropriate construction skills certification scheme (CSCS) card (or global equivalent).
* MAPM/MRICS/MICE.
* Member chartered institute of buildings.
* Membership of association of project management.
* Member of royal institute of chartered surveyors.
* Member of institute of civil engineers.
