The Role:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the financial and contractual aspects of key civil engineering projects. This role involves overseeing cost planning, measurement, contract administration, and final accounts to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing bills of quantities, tender documents, and contracts.
2. Measuring and valuing works, including cost analysis and planning.
3. Administering contracts, including handling variations, claims, and negotiations.
4. Managing interim and final accounts preparation and submission.
5. Presenting cost reports to senior management and supporting budgeting efforts.
6. Evaluating tenders and compiling detailed reports.
