Graphic Designer, BNF Hospitality, London
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer to join our central company support team (head office), working across all our restaurant brands in the UK and internationally.
This is a new position to be part of a growing in-house creative and marketing team. This in-house team leads and oversees all visual design aspects for all brands. On a daily basis, they do everything from designing menus and signage to creating digital assets for websites and social media; collaborating with content creators; and ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. At all times, they work closely with the marketing and restaurant teams to ensure that all design elements align with our brand identity and support our business objectives.
The role is full-time and to be based in our central London office, alongside the full team.
What we look for in this role
* At least three years of experience working as a Graphic Designer, ideally in the luxury consumer landscape (hospitality, travel, fashion, design, tech, etc.)
* A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across print and digital media
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
* Excellent visual and communication skills
* A keen eye for detail, typography, and layout
* Ability to interpret and translate brand guidelines into compelling visual designs
* Practical, organised, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* A proactive team player who is able to work independently and as part of a (small) team
* A strategic thinker who can grasp the commercial needs of our company and respond in creative and innovative ways
* An open attitude and the ability to approach issues with a problem-solving, solutions-driven spirit, putting ego and personal preferences aside in the interest of the business
* Takes pride in their work and strives for high standards of execution
* Can calmly juggle the needs of multiple brands, aware that sometimes we need to manage competing priorities

Job outline and key responsibilities
With oversight and involvement in the entire visual design output for the group of restaurants:
* Implement and execute each brand's visual identity as directed and supported by the Marketing Director
* Work alongside multiple teams and stakeholders internally, including marketing, restaurant GMs, chefs, events teams, etc.
* Lead the design and production of all graphic materials across multiple brands (including menus, signage, promotional materials, social media assets, website graphics, etc.)
* Oversee and lead the creation of visual content for all channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines
* Help manage external agencies and freelancers as required (e.g., photographers, illustrators, printers)
Design and Branding
* Oversee, organise, and produce all graphic design elements for both print and digital media
* Ensure all design work aligns with and enhances the established brand identity for each restaurant
* Create compelling visuals for social media, websites, email campaigns, and other digital platforms
* Design and update menus, signage, and other customer-facing materials
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for events and campaigns
* Manage the production process for printed materials, including liaising with printers and suppliers
Digital Media
* Support the web development team by providing design assets and ensuring websites are visually engaging and on-brand
* Create and optimise graphics for online use, ensuring they are web-friendly and responsive
* Work with the marketing team to develop visually engaging email templates and newsletters
* Stay updated on digital design trends and best practices to keep our digital presence fresh and innovative
Admin, Reporting, and Research
* Involvement in and management of the design budget for branding and collateral
* Regularly track and report on design projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
* Continually keep aware of design trends and what’s happening in the industry to keep our brands relevant and appealing
* Produce insights reports and mood boards to help inform the wider team and stakeholders, as well as our own design initiatives
* Organise and maintain the digital asset library, ensuring all design files and assets are properly archived and accessible
