Location: Newcastle, UK
Salary: £60,000–£70,000 + Bonus
The Opportunity
A leading opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to work on critical infrastructure projects within the UK government sector. The role involves automating, configuring, and documenting complex infrastructure solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic platform projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with architects, developers, and project managers to deliver automated infrastructure solutions.
* Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines for scalable and secure environments.
* Leverage tools like Terraform, PowerShell, and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
* Implement container solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to team members while hosting client sessions.
* Work with cloud-native SaaS, PaaS, and associated tooling.
What’s Required
* Proven experience in Agile or Scrum team environments.
* AWS expertise and experience with CI/CD pipeline deployment.
* Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Ansible.
* Hands-on experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
* SC clearance is required for this role.
