Technical design specialist

Job Overview

PRS is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services & facilities management specialist team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Building Services, Facilities &/or M&E and excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the design stages and technical development of new and existing projects from initial inception through to final handover.
• Collaborate with professionals/contractors in the development of new designs and/or changes to existing projects.
• Lead pre-construction activities including conducting site surveys and compiling schedule of requirements documentation (SORs) that link to the commercial team's production of costs to clients.

Requirements:
• Experience in CDM Projects in construction and building services and previous management capacity in a multi-skilled work environment.
• Knowledge of commercial & industrial electrical systems and awareness of critical environments & Mission critical systems beneficial but not essential.
• AutoCAD and drawing package software experience and BS7671 18th Edition Wiring regulations knowledge.
