As a Lending Operations Team Leader, you’ll guide a team of Lending Support Officers, ensuring the seamless and efficient handling of lending applications from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the team to process lending applications with efficiency, accuracy, and compliance, from initial application through to completion.
* Work closely with brokers, solicitors, and valuation teams to ensure smooth application management and exceptional customer outcomes.
* Resolve escalations, investigate complex cases, and deliver solutions with professionalism.
* Identify and implement improvements to processes, driving efficiency and quality.
* Develop and motivate your team through coaching, training, and performance management.
* Collaborate across departments to support organizational growth and success.
What You’ll Bring
* At least 2 years’ experience in lending operations, with strong leadership and team-building skills.
* A solid understanding of retail lending processes, particularly for owner-occupier and Buy-To-Let mortgages.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* The ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
