Responsibilities: Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues. Manage and configure Windows 10 desktops, including application deployment and user profile management. Assist with device setups and deployments using Intune/AutoPilot for streamlined provisioning. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Active Directory, group policies, and user access management. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency. Support virtualisation environments (VMware/Nutanix) by addressing end-user related challenges. Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Projects teams on deployment and upgrade activities. Ensure adherence to security policies, contributing to a robust and secure environment (CyberEssentials, CI Security). Key Skills: Strong experience in Windows 10 desktop management and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Intune/AutoPilot for device deployment and configuration. Proficiency in Active Directory administration, including group policies and permissions. Basic understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Nutanix. Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and basic physical/logical network troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to end users.
