Description
Manage and facilitate corporate Operational Risk including occupational health and safety, workers compensation claims management, business continuity, asset conservation, environment and sustainability and facility security to create a consistent approach to Operational Risk across KHC Manufacturing and Logistics locations in the region. The objective is to sites ensure ing compliance, improve engagement, focusing on reducing risk and injuries to our employees or contractors. and cost reduction.
1. To be the KHMS Safety Pillar Sponsor and drive the implementation of the processes for Safety Excellence
2. Collaborate with senior leadership teams to implement an integrated operational EHS risk management program (KHMS) (Safety Playbook and Golden Rules) across all KHC sites in conjunction with the site EHS personnel and management teams that ensures compliance with all relevant legislation.
3. Co-partner with site managers to inspire the Health and Safety teams, fostering a culture of motivation, encouragement, and continuous development and create a high performing team environment.
4. Analyse data to monitor progress, identify trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
5. Regularly communicate performance and risk management insights, including progress updates, emerging trends, and opportunities for continuous improvement in Health & Safety practices.
6. Stay up to date with changes in legislation, ensure business partners are educated and fully informed of any risks and impacts.
7. Ensure efficient collection and distribution of operational risk training and information that is in the right format, on time and to the right personnel to enable effective business decisions to be made.
8. To consult and collaborate with country managers to develop action plans which involve the workforce to foster a culture of continuously improving workplace operational risk.
9. Provide specialist information and/or advice to management and employees, and access external specialist resources as required for all operational risk matters.
10. Provide training and training resources to support the program.
11. Liaise with relevant statutory bodies to investigate or assist in the investigation of reportable injuries, incidents or dangerous events at the workplace. Liaise with global EHS ORM team key managers to share best practice and ensure Kraft Heinz obligations and requirements are met.
12. Completion of regular audits to monitor progress against action plans and report results to WHQ.
13. Completion of monthly stat reports for executive Leadership and WHQ
14. To ensure consistency of process across all sites sharing best practice.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
Skills/Technical Knowledge:
15. Comprehensive knowledge of workers’ compensation, environment law and OH&S legislation across the countries in which the BU’s operate.
Qualifications:
16. Qualifications in business and workplace health and safety, environment and sustainability or similar.
Experience:
17. Demonstrated management experience including; people leadership, financial management skills to ensure effective utilisation of resources, Multidisciplined or complex situations, project management.
