Job summary This role will provide financial support & analysis to the Head of Clinical Engineering and other senior operational managers in the Trust. This 12 month secondment role will be key in contributing to the corporate financial analytical reporting for known and unknow expenditure with medical devices and health care sciences support contracts and associated repairs. They will work with Senior Management Accountants, Finance Business Managers, Operational Finance Partners & other Finance staff and senior budget holders and the PMO CIP Officer within the Trust, as well as with external partners including NHS Supply Chain, NHS Devon CCG, Devon STP, NHSE/I, other outside agencies and private providers. All work will be presentable to Internal & External auditors, Local Authorities/Social services and other NHS organisation's. Main duties of the job Be the lead Finance Analyst providing senior financial support to the Head of Clinical Engineering, Finance Business Managers, Operational Finance Partners & other Finance staff and senior budget holders throughout the trust Draft reports for contract maintenance expenditure every month detailing all expenditure [non-pay, other non-contract income and recovery of funds] Be responsible for the production of complex financial information to support adhoc costings/analysis for Corporate Finance work, Trust wide projects and Business Cases. The post holder will be required to work with individual services & Finance to co-ordinate information requests/needs Play a key role in contributing to the corporate financial analytical reporting processes, including year-end and audit requirements.
