Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Document Controller located in Tilbury. The Document Controller will be responsible for document management, project documentation, records management, and facilitating communication within the organization. Daily tasks include managing project documentation, ensuring compliance with document control procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications and Role information
* Document Management and Documentation skills
* Project Documentation and Records Management expertise
* Strong communication skills
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
* Experience with document control software is a plus
* Knowledge of construction industry practices
* Professional certification in document control is beneficial
* Responsible for setting up all projects on the Electronic Document Management System
* Creating, developing, communicating and ensuring correct implementation of the document control procedures
* Developing and maintaining Project Files for all documentation and correspondence
* Managing all interfaces with Document Control in Head Office departments and on sites
* Management and administration of the archiving systems
* The Role will be mainly office based in Tilbury with occasional site visits to London
What you'll need?
To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Computer literate. Experience of Electronic Document Management Systems is essential
