One of Morgan Law's public sector clients requires a Surveyor to lead on the acquisition and disposal of a range of properties, securing development opportunities and delivering best value for money. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the acquisitions and disposals strategy Implement a strategic development plan to maximise the value of the property portfolio. Oversee the acquisition process for new properties and identify potential acquisition opportunities Lead on negotiations with landowners and developers to secure optimal terms for property acquisitions and disposals. Oversee the market research and property appraisals to identify opportunities and provide accurate valuations. Negotiate on development agreements and land sale agreements, to secure optimal terms and best value Provide advice on property valuation and development appraisals Oversee valuation reports for various property types, ensuring accuracy and in accordance with RICS standards. Ensure compliance with planning law and building regulations. Person Specification: A Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS. Track record in development surveying within a local authority Extensive experience in conducting valuations
