Here’s what you’ll be doing:
You will be working as part of the Technical Operations team here at Simply Business, supporting the Head of Shared Services Operations with the ongoing development of the Shared Services Strategy and the daily operational efficiency and rhythm of the Shared Services team.
As one of our ShSOps Strategy & Operations Partner, you’ll:
* work closely with the Shared Services leaders to create a plan that aligns with the goals of the strategy, measuring and reporting on progress/targets and status regularly to demonstrate the plan’s effectiveness against the strategic objectives.
* lead a variety of ad hoc projects related to Shared Services, including financial, system implementations and organisational change initiatives.
* collaborate across the Shared Services Leadership to identify and implement process enhancements and operational efficiency improvements using appropriate methodologies.
* generate business insights and trend analysis to deliver concepts and recommendations that drive the overall success of Shared Services.
We’re looking for someone who is:
* an experienced professional in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a related role, preferably within the insuretech sector.
* an exceptional stakeholder manager with a sound commercial background and strong attention to detail.
* a tech domain specialist with active understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
* a resourceful project manager with exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to deadline.
* accomplished in using a variety of process improvement methodologies.
* experienced in analysis and the use of data to create compelling reports and stories that communicate key messages across a tech organisation and to influence various levels of management decision making.
* a proactive self-starter, full of creative ideas and a curiosity to try out new innovative approaches e.g. with AI.
* an adaptable collaborator who navigates dynamic situations with ease and thrives in a supportive and growth-oriented culture.
