Our teaching assistants, as professional partners, work responsibly alongside teaching staff. The role is to support learning in the classroom, in small groups and one-to-one, as directed. The applicant must be able to work with groups of pupils to improve key Literacy and Mathematical skills, seizing opportunities for learning and supporting the teacher in whole class settings. The successful applicant should ideally have some experience of working with children in this age range.
About you
Background experience:
• NVQ teaching assistant, Level 3, A levels or childcare qualifications (an advantage but not essential)
• GCSE Maths & English, Grades A-C (Essential)
