Main duties of the job
As a Lead Product Manager, you are accountable for the quality of a Data Products service. You will adopt a holistic view, managing an end-to-end service, which includes multiple data products. This may involve interactions across associated digital and technology products in support of the entire end to end data service.
A Lead Product Manager is responsible for leading Data Product direction across multiple Data products within a product group (each of which may be managed day-to-day by another Senior Data Product Manager), acting as the senior lead and point of escalation. A Lead Product Manager will ensure multiple Data Products meet user needs as well as delivering wider strategic outcomes, priorities and benefits. This will often include shaping strategy and ways of working for key areas.
A Lead Product Manager will need to adopt a user centred approach, operate at scale and provide the connection between multidisciplinary business areas (including other services and enabling functions) and stakeholders.
The role is based in Leeds.
