Regional Sales Manager - Packaging
Due to continued growth and heavy investment, my client, a global food machinery manufacturer, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to work within their UK team.
You will be based in your regional area (North West).
Flexibility to travel throughout the UK on occasions may be required, as well as overnight stays.
The Role
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Plan and deliver customer visits within your region
2. Build trust, confidence, and create solutions for customer needs using technical knowledge
3. Meet monthly and annual sales targets
4. Provide accurate quotes and sales orders
5. Build strong relationships with engineers and Head Office support
6. Travel is required daily
7. Attend UK sales meetings at Head Office
8. Travel as needed with customers and networking/industry events, potentially overseas on occasions
The Candidate
We are looking for candidates with the following skills, experience, and attributes:
1. Strong technical knowledge of packaging machinery within food and non-food manufacturing
2. Possibly a Field Service Engineer looking to move into sales - full training and support will be provided
3. Account management and B2B sales experience
4. Strong communication and customer service skills
