Right now, we are looking for an aspiring HS&E Advisor to join our growing Health, Safety, Environmental and Training Department on a permanent contract out of our brand new offices in Kings Hill, Kent. About The Role…
As a Graduate Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor, you will support Chartway's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Training Department in continuously improving policies, procedures, and management systems.
You’ll assist the Group HSE Manager and Senior HSE Managers with site, office, and yard inspections and audits across all Chartway subsidiaries. You will also take the lead on reporting, recording, and investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to promote a safe and positive work environment.
Your strong communication and relationship-building skills will be key as you contribute to projects like developing Group and Business Unit processes to prepare for ISO external audits.
What you’ll need…

You will have a keen interest in HS&E, and ideally have a degree in a relevant field, or within the construction sector. You’ll have excellent IT skills, be organised, and have a good working knowledge of Risk, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
You may have a NEBOSH General / Construction certification, a CSCS Card and IOSH / IEMA Membership or equivalent. However we can put you through these if not.
