4 different working patterns available:
3 x 12 hour fixed shifts Monday-Wednesday and Thursday-Saturday Day & Night.
Great uplifts available dependent on shift.

Our Opportunity
We have a new exciting opportunity at Thales Underwater Systems for a Test Technician to work within our Towed Array manufacturing cell based in Templecombe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for the next step up in their career or someone interested in working in a manufacturing environment that has the key fundamental skills to carry out the role.
The key focus is to ensure we provide a consistently high quality of product on time to support the production line. The primary purpose of this particular role is the in depth testing and fault diagnosis of electronic & electrical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities and tasks:
* Carry out in depth testing and fault diagnosis of analogue and digital PEC’s.
* In depth testing and fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical assemblies and their sub-assemblies.
* Test and fault diagnosis of electronic circuits to component level using a range of proprietary and specialist test equipment including scopes, network and spectrum analysers and function generators.
* Test and fault diagnosis using ATE.
* Programming of electronic devices using varied methods.
* Compile test result sheets and record operation transactions within Oracle B1.
About You:
This particular role requires someone with collaborative positive behaviours. This role can be demanding at times, often with tight timescales, therefore, a flexible work ethic is essential.
In addition:
* Experience of working in a production test department.
* Be able to record data.
* The ability to follow processes and instruction.
* Able to interpret circuit diagrams and identify faults to component level.
* Must be able to identify and carry out actions required with minimal supervision.
* PC literate in the use of Microsoft Office Tool set.
