Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to manage and develop a number of construction projects across various sites.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional time managementand a solid understanding of all aspect of construction.
Duties
* Lead and manage construction staff and ensure that productivity is maintained and deadlines are met
* Effectively and efficiently negotiate with suppliers and utilities
* Coordinate with contractors, and other trades to ensure project objectives are met.
* Operate plant machinery as and when required
* Conduct weekly multiple site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
* Present project updates weekly, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
Skills and Experience
* Must have project management experience within the construction industry and be able to plan and foresee project requirements
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Must be good with people generally and be able to motivate and enthuse others
* Must have good working knowledge of groundworks and all aspects of construction, materials, and legal regulations is essential
* Must be able to operate plant and machinery if required
* Must have problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Pay commensurate with experience
