Glendale's have recently extended their long term agreement with schools, academies and colleges across Surrey and now have long term employment opportunities for experienced and trainee staff to join a UK privately owned market leading green services provider.
Candidates will be required to work 40 hours a week.
Overtime is available throughout the year to meet client requirements.
Our depots are based in Guildford, Gatwick & Heathrow.

A Glimpse into the Role Awaiting You
Assisting the Contract Manager and Supervisor in the effective management of the programmed maintenance
Proactively leading by example with grounds maintenance work
Support and guidance of the service delivery team e.g. grounds maintenance operatives
Main duties include initial marking & over marking sports pitches. However on occasion performing other duties may be required such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, and shrub bed maintenance.
The successful applicant may be required to drive/tow a trailer, on occasions and following suitable training you may be required to operate a tractor or larger mowing equipment, therefore a UK driving licence is required for this post. Previous experience and relevant tickets are desirable but full training and career development will be provided.
Candidates will also use a range of other tools and some machinery maintenance
Completing necessary daily check sheets and paperwork involved with the smooth running of operations
DBS will need to be obtained due to the nature of the contract
Who are you?
Skilled in grounds maintenance operations with an awareness of all Health and Safety Legislation
Excellent communication skills
Supervisory/leadership experience would be an advantage
Experience and knowledge in Initial marking sports pitches is required
A full clean UK driving licence is required as you may be required to operate ride-on mowers and drive company vehicles / tow trailers
Certified in PA1 & PA6 is desirable
