Protocol Education is seeking aspiring Educational Psychologists who wish to gain experience working with children and in schools.
We are looking for passionate individuals aiming to build a career as an Educational Psychologist. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible scheduling. As an aspiring Educational Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work in various schools with children of different ages and abilities. No prior qualifications or experience are necessary; all you need is the drive and passion to make a positive impact on children's lives. You will primarily work alongside class teachers to support children, occasionally providing one-on-one assistance. The needs of the children can vary, with some having complex learning difficulties.
This role can be challenging, requiring patience, a friendly approach, and a good sense of humour, along with the skills to help children learn and develop to their fullest potential.
The Role:
- Collaborate with class teachers to support children's learning
- Manage pupil behaviour, ensuring a constructive and positive environment
- De-escalate situations appropriately, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Conduct small group work and support children with additional needs
- Report any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies
