You will be required to work 25 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday from 08:30am – 1:30pm.
This position is to take charge of a large school kitchen that transports meals to a primary school. You will receive direction and support from your line manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Organising the day-to-day running of the kitchen;
2. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
3. Approach problem management with ease;
4. Deal with any complaints;

1. Evaluating food costs;
2. Menu planning;
3. Managing the kitchen budget;
4. H.A.S.A.W. and Cooksafe;
5. Following procedures;
6. Awareness of current food trends and customer preferences.

This post is considered regulated work with vulnerable children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment.
