Red Recruitment is excited to be recruiting Customer Service Advisors on behalf of our client who are seeking empathetic individuals to join their busy office located in Glasgow. This position contains hybrid working options as well as additional benefits such as a gym membership. The salary for this role is £23,000 per annum plus an extra 9% of salary on top of core pay.
Benefits and Package for a Customer Service Advisor:
1. Salary: £23,000 per annum and will increase further to £25,000 per annum once you have passed your probation period. You will also receive an extra 9% of salary on top of core pay to use as you like
2. Hours: 37 hours per week, you will be required to work any 5 out of 7 days
3. Shifts between:
o Monday - Friday, 8am - 8pm
o Saturday, 8am - 6pm
o Sunday, 9am - 5pm
4. Contract Type: Permanent
5. Location: Glasgow / Hybrid
6. Holidays: 34 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
7. Additional Benefits: Critical illness cover, life assurance and health assessment
Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor:
1. Communicating with vulnerable customers via phone, email, and on web chat
2. Providing an empathetic approach to the customer's queries
3. Understanding the root cause of the customer query ensuring queries are solved first time to prevent repeat contact
4. Ensuring both personal and team objectives are achieved
5. Preparing, attending, and actively contributing at meetings as appropriate
Key Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Advisor:
1. Empathetic and compassionate skills are required
2. Previous experience in a contact centre or in the retail industry is advantageous
3. Good IT skills are required
4. Driven to go above and beyond to keep customers happy is essential
5. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks are required
