An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Oncology Outpatients department and we are looking to recruit a Clinical Sister. The successful candidate will be joining an established team with a record of excellence and innovative practices. The department provides outpatient treatment, triage assessment and follow-up care for patients with oncology conditions.
Main Duties of the Job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse with clinical experience within Oncology nursing. You will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills in Oncology nursing care and have a passion for Oncology. Knowledge and skills in the safe administration of chemotherapy, care of central lines, and other associated supportive treatments are also essential.
You will be expected to work as part of a team as well as autonomously. You will be required to participate in service development and research within the role.

About Us

You will be expected to attend the leadership development programme and the Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. This programme aims to:

After you complete this four and a half days of training, you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities. We offer further in-house courses dependent upon your role and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at levels 3, 5, and 7.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year (pro rata)
