We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef/Cook. Do you love being in a care setting, providing healthy balanced cuisine for the elderly?
Then this role is for you. The Chef will be responsible for maintaining high standards in all areas within the kitchen. The Chef should be competent in all aspects of kitchen duties and be able to produce variety of menus for residents based on their dietary requirements, maintain stock levels, order supplies, working to a budget and completing monthly audits.
Skills / Qualifications:
You must have experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment
Ideally within a care home setting but not essential. You should have an NVQ2 in Catering and Hospitality or Professional Cookery and a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. Must have an Enhanced DBS Clearance.
You will have strong leadership skills be reliable and you will be fully competent in all aspects of kitchen duties.
