As a key member of our Site Leadership Team, you’ll be the driving force behind the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of two production plants within our fast-paced, 24/7 bakery environment. You’ll be responsible for leading & developing teams, managing change, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure our fresh products reach our customers on time, in full, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize performance across the site.
* Inspire, coach, and develop your team, empowering them to reach their full potential and deliver outstanding results.
* Oversee and manage change initiatives, ensuring smooth project execution and actively driving team engagement.
* Achieve key KPIs, including line efficiencies, quality, freshness, and service levels, through effective planning, performance monitoring, and cost control.
* Champion HSE standards, fostering a safe workplace culture and ensuring full compliance with legal and company requirements.
Minimum Requirements
* An experienced and proven manager of people, working in a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG.
* Willing to work a days based, 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
* Strong financial acumen with experience in planning, budgeting, and KPI management.
* Proven ability to drive Continuous Improvement and implement strategic initiatives at the operational level.
* Experience of managing HR processes including absence-management, 121’s, employee engagement, and performance improvement.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with an eye for detail and a knack for motivating teams.
