Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Gloucester. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
£50,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Take ownership of monthly management accounts and reporting packs for various companies
2. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, to include explanation for any adjustments required
3. Prepare the commission calculation
4. Process VAT returns
5. Review the P&L for activity performed by others and seek justification for any variances
6. Provide detailed revenue and costs variance analysis and information to budget holders
7. Support with the provision of accurate Divisional and Group reporting and analysis
8. Support the budgeting / forecasting process, by providing information and analysis
9. Improve timing, content and accuracy of both financial and management reporting
10. Ability to provide detailed excel spreadsheet modelling for analysis for particular cost categories
Person specification:
11. Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with 2 years management accounts experience gained in industry
12. Questions and where appropriate challenges the status quo to ensure continuous improvement
13. Excel skill at intermediate level or above
14. Strong organisational and analytical skills
