Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the end-to-end process of managing key tenders, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
2. Define needs, design evaluation methods, assess bids, award contracts, and supervise procurement teams.
3. Ensure spending on goods and services complies with government requirements.
4. Contribute to and lead project boards and teams as required to deliver strategic initiatives.
5. Offer guidance to project managers on procurement and contract matters, assisting with planning, negotiations, evaluations, and successful project execution.
6. Update and enforce the organisation's commercial policies, terms, and operational guidelines.
7. Ensure health, safety, and security are maintained in procurement activities while identifying and managing risks within the organisation's framework.
Requirements:
1. Knowledge and experience of public sector regulations and PCR15.
2. Previous experience in a similar role.
3. Hold an MCIPS qualification or be working towards MCIPS.
