An exciting job role has recently become available at the Bristol City Council. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Services Community Team.
This role is on a 3-month contract basis with the possibility of extension, offering hybrid working arrangements and a competitive hourly rate from £32/hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing S42 Enquiries and urgent visits, prioritising high-risk Care Act assessments and Mental Capacity assessments.
* Addressing situations of harm due to neglect or self-neglect with urgency and care.
* Making proportionate, person-centered decisions based on comprehensive risk information.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in a community team, specifically within Adult Services.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct S42 Enquiries and assessments under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
* Car driver is essential due to the coverage of all of North and West Bristol.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
