DG Corporate provides a range of services to core SG directorates, public bodies, public inquiries and review bodies. The Corporate Hub is a relatively new function within the Corporate Transformation Directorate which will evolve into the future delivery management platform for corporate services provided by DG Corporate. The Hub is led by a Deputy Director and this post will sit in the Platform Management Team, reporting to the Training Lead. The training team within Platform Management is responsible for the design and delivery of training across multiple channels, initially focussing on the Oracle Cloud Platform which went live in October 2024. The expectation is that the team’s responsibilities will expand to include other technology solutions being implemented within the directorate. There is an expectation that all team members will contribute to shaping the service as it continues to develop, bringing fresh ideas and a willingness to adopt new ways of working as duties and responsibilities of the role evolve. Responsibilities Work with stakeholder user groups to assess the learning requirements and gaps to ensure the sufficient skills and knowledge of Oracle Cloud process across employees, line managers, HR specialist and finance modules users. Impact assess changes and enhancements to the platform to identify new training requirements and provide consultation on best training methods and in partnership with Product Teams and Subject Matter Experts to identify specific learning outcomes. In collaboration with Subject Matter Experts design and develop training videos, eLearning materials, training presentations, Oracle Guided Learning in an engaging and learner-centric way utilising most appropriate media and following instructional and content design principles. Create, evaluate, update and review Oracle Guided Learning content by using evidence, data and research to make content decisions; building relationships across stakeholder groups to focus on the needs of the user and to influence stakeholders; contributing to and using the style guides and content patterns; engaging with and contributing to the wider content community. Ensure accessibility of learning materials. Ensure full Quality Assurance and Evaluation of new materials utilising Quality Assurance panels that include subject matter experts. Collaborate with local learning and development teams and partners to co-create training materials providing Oracle Cloud system training expertise. Facilitate and deliver aspects of the learning programme in collaboration with SMEs and facilitators from training teams across business functions. Responsibilities Success Profile Success profiles are specific to each job and they include the mix of skills, experience and behaviours candidates will be assessed on. Experience Experience in leading the design of learning solutions including interactive and media content using authoring tools like Articulate 360, Camtasia, Oracle Guided Learning. Experience of delivering complex technical information to a wide corporate audience using creative, accessible mediums.
