Job Details:
Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum (Pro-rata)
Contract: Substantive
Hours: Part-time: 6 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 4.5:1.5)
On call: Frequency 1:50 Category A - 3% on call supplement (Pro-rata)
Location: Pine Lodge, Whipps Cross University Hospital, Whipps Cross Road, Leytonstone, London E11 1NR
Qualifications needed:
1. Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
2. CCT or equivalent
3. Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
4. Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
5. Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

Job responsibilities:
You will be expected to:
1. Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to older adult and adult people with mental health needs, across Waltham Forest.
2. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
3. Work directly with older adults and adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external older adult and adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
4. Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement (pro-rata).
5. Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.
6. Work alongside 1.4wte Consultant Psychiatrists, 1wte Senior Trainee, and 2wte Core Trainees.
7. Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
