Overview
The Senior Care Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients. This position involves coordinating and overseeing care services, managing client relationships, and working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver tailored support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and have experience in an office environment as well as the care sector. Therefore, enabling them to effectively manage schedules, documentation, and communication both with their team and clients.
Responsibilities (not limited to)
* Coordinate care plans for clients, ensuring that all services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
* Perform staff supervisions: oversee and guide a team of caregivers, providing support and ensuring adherence to care plans and protocols.
* Direct care: there may be times where you are required to provide care to clients, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
* Liaise with clients, families, and healthcare providers to assess needs and monitor progress on a termly basis.
* Maintain accurate records of client information, care plans, and service delivery.
* Support the management team in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for care staff and clients.
* Provide support and guidance to clients and their families regarding available services and resources.
* Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction with care services.
* Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and address any issues that may arise.
* Assist in training new staff members on office procedures and client care protocols.
Requirements
* Proven experience in an office environment, preferably within the healthcare or social care sector. You must have at least 2 years experience within healthcare.
* You must have your own car and full driving license.
* NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to undertake one.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and professionals.
* Empathy and a genuine desire to support individuals in need of care services.
* Proficiency in using office software applications for documentation and scheduling purposes.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From £12.60 per hour
