Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Staff Recruitment & Induction:
o Actively source applicants for care assistants post through social media, advertising, local colleges, job fayres etc.
o Maintain a social media presence for CVC Ltd.
o Recruit staff in line with RQIA guidance and agency policies & procedures.
o Complete Induction programme with new employees.
o Maintain care assistants files for inspection purposes.
o Become a counter-signatory for Access NI to complete checks for care assistants.
2. Training:
o Assist the Monitoring Officer to provide practical in house training for care assistants.
o Maintain our online training programme and ensure that care assistants are up to date.
o Maintain training records.
3. Quality Assurance:
o Carry out spot checks to monitor the quality of care being provided.
o Assist the monitoring officer with staff observations when required.
o Carry out Annual Appraisals for care assistants.
4. Registration:
o Registration with NI Social Care Council.
Essential Qualifications:
* QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Experience:
* Previous experience working in Domiciliary care.
* Knowledge of RQIA minimum standards.
Skills:
* Effective knowledge of Microsoft office: specifically Word and Excel.
* Excellent command of the English language – both written and spoken.
* Ability to maintain accurate and up to date training records and staff files in accordance with company policy.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £31,000.00 per year
