Chef De Partie - Evesham

Our client, a hotel on the outskirts of Evesham, who use fresh local ingredients and make regular menu updates, are seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join their team!
As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items under the supervision of the Head Chef. This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to consistently deliver exceptional dishes.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the Head Chef's recipes and standards.
2. Assist with menu development and implementation, keeping up with current food trends and incorporating local and seasonal ingredients.
3. Maintain a clean and organised workstation, always adhering to food safety guidelines.
4. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality food service to our guests.
5. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold our standards of excellence.
6. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
7. Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, upcoming events, and new ideas.
8. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including those for food quality and sanitation.
9. Other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management team.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
2. Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary school is preferred.
3. Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
4. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
5. A passion for creating delicious, high-quality food with attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
7. Flexible schedule.
