Due to continued expansion and growth of our consultancy services, we are looking for an experienced Business Architect to join our Business Consulting team. As part of our Architecture and Design practice, our consultants apply effective architecture and business design skills to shape and support business development opportunities and deliver professional services across a wide range of transformation initiatives. Using a structured approach to address clients' most critical and complex problems, breaking them down and using a variety of design skills to convey complex insights, craft compelling stories that make convincing and understandable recommendations. The ideal applicant will have verified experience of working within a complex environment and be comfortable translating multiple stakeholder’s needs into compelling solutions. The ability to apply and develop business architecture frameworks and principles is essential and you will be expected to be able to provide strategic advice to our clients on how to implement their strategy and reach their goals. Identification of Business Solutions that contribute to efficiencies such as cost reduction, improved delivery timescales and improved user experience. Supporting the implementation of digital capabilities to deliver benefits and outcomes aligned to an organisation’s strategy. Identification of the necessary organisational design, process and technology changes to enable and sustain the transformation agenda. Application of a structured business architecture approach to translate strategy into initiatives, focussing on the bigger picture and how various solutions work together to meet business goals. Working as part of a diverse team supporting business development activities within client tender responses. Requirements The applicant will meet the following minimum requirements: Experience delivering as a business architect (or similar role), within transformation and change activities in either Defence and the Public or Private sectors. Ability to understand and articulate business outcomes that inform requirements, identifying and defining solutions that will deliver demonstrable value. Experience of operating model development, organisational design and the production of roadmaps that support a transformation strategy. The ability to communicate to clients effectively and convey technical ideas, concepts and high-level solutions in a simplified manner. Experience of delivering large scale change using multiple methodologies and frameworks such as TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma, Systems thinking, Agile (Scrum, DSDM, scaled agile etc). Experience of business analysis and process modelling along with the ability to support product and service development with a focus on user experience and the customer journey. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in some of the following key skills: Experienced in supporting the development and solution design of Digital Transformational Change Awareness of different Digital Technologies in the areas of mobile, web, automation, robotics, synthetic environments, video, Internet of Things (IoT) or AI. A recognised qualification in Business/Enterprise Architecture or Change Management. Project Management / Business Analysis Experience in our target growth markets: Defence, Energy, Sustainability, Transport & infrastructure Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for National Security vetting.
