What levers can we use to support innovation in healthcare technology markets? How do weencouragepatients to take an active role in their healthcare? What are the ways in which we provide greater access to data while ensuring that access is appropriately controlled?
Bringing together policy,clinical,research,designandtechnology teams to answer these questions and many more like them is the task of the Lead Product Manager in Digital Primary Care.
The role willidentify,prioritiseand develop opportunities to introduce products and services that are used by heath care professionals and patients. The rolespansmulti-disciplinary teamsincluding user research, service design, business analysis,deliveryand technical architecture disciplines.Responsibilities include:
• represent product management practice at a senior level, providing strong,decisiveand visible product leadership, under the overall leadership of the Head of Product
• work with product managers to ensure products and services havea clear visionwithobjectivesaligned to user needs and organisational goals
• ensureteams scope and shape propositions to incrementally deliver valueand tobuild end-to-end user journeys
• ensure that teams have appropriateand relevant performance and success measures in place (e.g. Key Performance Indicators, Objectives & Key Results) that align to the needs ofusers and the organisation
• work with leadership across programmes and organisational boundaries to ensure that vision and goals are aligned, key stakeholders and delivery partners are engaged, deliveryiscoordinatedand new opportunitiesareevaluated.

The Lead Product Manager will be working in Digital Services for Integrated Care, which is part of Digital Primary Care.Our purpose is to provide healthcare professionals with digital products and services that help them provide the best patient care, reduceburdenand provide greater value for money.We work with suppliers and national NHSteamsto provide the products and services that supporthealthcare in GP Practices, other Primary Care settings and beyond.
