Description and requirements
Skanska Network Solutions are experts in designing, installing and integrating information, communication and technology (ICT) solutions. We offer a wide range of IP-related services, including network security and in-building wireless solutions.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Tewkesbury. This role is to professionally manage and organise the design, implementation and Construction management of Integrated Network Infrastructure, Access Control, CCTV, Audio Visual, Fibre Optic, Satellite, PMS, Telecoms Packages on various projects, including procurement, installation, commissioning, compliance testing and final hand over to the end client, delivering within budget and programme to the satisfaction of all engaged parties.
You’ll:
1. Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs.
2. Ensure all design solutions (where applicable) offered by designers and sub-contractors fully comply with the project documentation and budget strategy
3. Manage the trade contractors including the production of working drawings, procurement and performance on site.
4. Ensure good communications within the project and regularly brief other team members, providing regular written reports to monitor performance
5. Represent the company at meetings, promote the correct company image and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities.
We are looking for:
6. Experience in the installation and integration of Structured Cabling Systems, with a knowledge of material specifications and industry working practices
7. Solid experience and understanding of IP CCTV systems
8. Knowledge and understanding of telecommunications solutions
9. Experience in forecasting and projecting budget costs through the project life cycle.
10. Experience and knowledge industry recognised Performance Testing and Commissioning
