Primary Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:-
Coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities.
• Analyzes firms HVAC systems, computer network, lighting and other factors.
• Plans, budgets and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates,
bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
• Performs audits to support facility planning.
• Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies.
• Manages subordinate supervisors in the Maintenance Department.
• Maintains the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
• Understands and lives by the company’s ethics and business conduct policies.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Essential
• Must possess an outstanding degree of judgment, organization, planning,
initiative, flexibility and creativity
• Must be able to perform calmly and reasonably under pressure from demand
for production and other exigencies
• Requires capability to be resourceful and very creative with machinery and
facilities
• Physical capability of lifting materials up to 50 pounds and carrying up and
down steps, walking to various programs as the situation warrants
• Exposure to chemical odors such as DPA, Ammonia and Ethanol
• BS degree from a four-year college or university
• Two to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
of education/experience
• Working knowledge with MS Word and Excel
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures or government regulations
