What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to provide the onsite SALT service for our students. The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience of working in a specialist school for young adults who have very complex needs including PMLD, SLD and autism along with NHS Band 6 SALT experience. You will work closely with service providers and parents to ensure that SALT programmes are delivered at school and at home.

Hounslow Local Authority is transforming therapy support for children and young people in Special Schools. Oaklands therapy team are led by a therapy coordinator. The successful candidate will join the therapy team at Oaklands and work across both our 2 sites. This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist clinical skills, and embed yourself in the school community to support our children and young people in achieving the best functional outcomes.
