“So, what’s next? …”.. asks the ambitious Head, wondering about their future
Here’s what. Our trust is implementing a new hub model where schools close to each other are overseen by an Executive Headteacher. If you have a pioneering spirit and a hunger for challenging, new pastures, this is exactly the role for you.
Bellevue Place Education Trust (BPET) is growing. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and ambitious leader to develop their career through leading a rapidly improving school while also developing a hub to exploit the opportunities of close school collaboration. We are seeking an Executive Headteacher to lead Dollis Primary School and inspire other BPET schools in the North London area.
Dollis Primary School is a 2-form entry primary school serving the Mill Hill community in Barnet. The school became an academy when it joined BPET last September.
Its vision is for ‘Excellence in all we do’, shaping the attitudes, endeavour and ambition of all pupils to receive a broad and balanced curriculum that combines academic rigour with highly-enriched opportunities to deliver a personalised approach to education and exceptional outcomes for all.
With 406 pupils aged from 2-11 years old, Dollis serves a very diverse community in Barnet and achievement is strong. Non-denominational and co-educational, Dollis welcomes children of all abilities and all backgrounds. The new Executive Headteacher will replace our retiring Headteacher.
You will have a strong track record in leadership and core learning. Capable of interpreting, developing and implementing our vision, your excellent communication skills will be vital in promoting the school to the local community and delivering a high standard of education.
In return, you will get that rarest of opportunities: the chance to lead a well-established school and ensure that every element is optimised to deliver the highest level of teaching and learning, all while building the new hub model. Furthermore, you will receive unparalleled access to support and to career advancement through BPET’s network of schools and development programmes.
