Are you committed to empowering victims of domestic abuse and helping them access the support they need to move forward safely?
We’re looking for a compassionate and driven Client Support Caseworker to play a vital role within the Single-Entry Gateway and Navigation Support of the Devon Domestic Abuse Alliance (DDAA). In this role, you’ll work directly with individuals experiencing domestic abuse, ensuring they receive timely, joined-up support tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide effective, flexible access to services for victims across Devon
2. Hold a caseload and conduct comprehensive assessments of risk and need
3. Create personalised “My Story” support plans and triage to the appropriate DDAA services or wider Devon support network
4. Collaborate with agencies such as health services, housing, addiction support, family hubs, and early help
5. Offer advice and advocacy to both clients and professionals
6. Safeguard vulnerable adults and children, taking action where necessary
About You:
You have the skills to support individuals with empathy, professionalism, and care. You’ll be confident navigating multi-agency systems, managing risk, and delivering high-quality support.
You will also bring:
7. Knowledge of the domestic abuse sector and related services
8. Understanding of safeguarding procedures
9. Strong communication and organisational skills
10. Experience working in multi-agency or support settings
