We are looking to appoint a part time Ward Receptionist 18.75 hours per week as part of an existing job share. Ward Receptionists are responsible for ensuring that patients are accurately and efficiently admitted and discharged from the ward. Applicants must have excellent organisational skills and are happy to work on a busy reception dealing with patients/relatives/doctors/nurses and answering queries face to face, via email or over the telephone.
The Receptionist Team:
Provide a comprehensive clerical co-ordination service and receive patients across the Medicine & Emergency Care Division's wards. To ensure that patients and visitors receive a friendly, customer focussed and efficient service. To maintain a professional front of house image. Liaising with patients, outside agencies and other services / departments within the trust in a professional manner. Provide efficient administration support to the ward. The post involves receiving and handling information which is confidential and therefore the post holder must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
