We’re looking for a UK based Project Developer to join Aggreko Energy Services (AES) team. This role can be based anywhere in the UK but you must be willing to travel in the UK (notably London) and European trips as and when required by the business. At Aggreko Energy Services we are accelerating the energy transition by developing, owning and operating energy infrastructure that delivers clean, reliable, economic energy for our customers. Reporting to the Senior. Development Manager, you will coordinate all aspects of project development, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, scope and regulatory requirements. You will stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to renewable energy project development. Success in this role will make a significant contribution to the energy transition journeys of both existing and new customers.

What you’ll do:
7. Support the delivery of Energy Services development pipeline; coordinating all aspects of project development, ensuring adherence to agreed project scopes, schedule, budgets and regulatory requirements. Support M&A activity by advising on the due diligence of Development aspects of deals.
8. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, landowners, contractors, and community groups, to foster positive relationships and address concerns around proposed developments.
9. Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to maximize profitability. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project disruptions and liabilities.
10. With Procurement and Construction Manager ensure adherence with equipment and construction services procurement strategies and support the negotiation and award of contracts.
11. Coordinate activities across multiple departments, such as engineering, construction and legal, to ensure successful project execution.
12. Deliver regular progress reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders to support project execution and decision making.
What we’re looking for:
13. You will have extensive experience in development/project roles at power generation or renewable energy companies, with good knowledge of the component parts of energy projects.
14. You will be able to demonstrated your ability to lead projects.
15. You have a solid background in effectively managing budgets, resources, and projects. Your experience demonstrates your ability to handle these responsibilities with confidence and efficiency.
16. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and excel at managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously. Your ability to stay organized and focused under pressure sets you apart.
